Management Coaching

People with a desire to succeed have been using professional coaches in the fields of sport and music for years. Now, coaching has become more widely recognised as a development tool for individuals and groups in life generally and business in particular and when you are aware of the benefits, it is easy to see why.

Coaching provides the support motivation and continuous development of an individual or team where it counts, on the field of play. For most roles in business, some training or theoretical knowledge and understanding is needed for a person to perform well within their job. And yet, in the fast-paced business environment of today, we often face situations that have never been experienced before by anyone in the organisation. These types of challenges are usually not best dealt with by people who have been trained in a particular routine or who have some previous limited experience. This type of challenge is best suited to a person who is undergoing development. The development of a person is about increasing their choices for action in all situations, granting them greater freedom and opportunities. This can include training but it goes beyond that, into the fields of personal awareness and effectiveness.

Coaching is an integral part of this process, because it is predominantly based upon observed (or accurately reported) behaviour and performance in the work place. Through the provision of a challenging listener who asks questions, observes performance and behaviour and seeks out ways of improving the effectiveness of an individual or a group, new situations faced day-to-day become the opportunities for continuous improvement of both the people and the processes of the business. Simply put, PEP believe that coaching is the tool by which traditional training and theoretical understanding is translated into more effective performance - in work and life in general.

Future Mapping

A breakthrough programme of self-development for individuals, teams and organisations who are committed to designing and fulfilling their own futures.

Future Mapping is a development programme in which participants are coached and encouraged to design and map out their future actions, in a way that is both motivational and sustainable. The programme begins with an initial two-day event, which involves:

A series of interactive discussions and exercises which lead to understanding of behaviours and attitudes.
Exploring how behaviours adapt and change in different environments.
Demonstrating the possibility of change in individuals, teams and organisations.
Managing the change in a team and organisation, and as an individual.
Understanding how to design, manage, and fulfil specific goals for yourself and others.

Included in the programme is the completion of behavioural and attitudinal profiles to allow participants to understand their own natural behavioural traits and communication styles and the ways in which they can develop their behavioural traits to communicate more effectively.

From this event, participants will have designed a very specific and yet wide ranging action plan. They will be offered coaching to achieve their objectives and specific goals, with weekly or monthly telephone calls and face-to-face discussions. These coaching sessions are designed to help participants fulfil the futures they have designed. Each and every participant in the programme will have their own specific coaching tailored to their individual needs. Our Future Mapping programme can provide the following benefits:
